Hi, I'm Paige! I studied Film at the University of Toronto, where I learned how to combine two of my greatest passions: film and writing. Now I am a film journalist and filmmaker based in Toronto!
Alongside film criticism and analysis, I’m interested in all kinds of creative work. I write poetry, music, and original scripts, and I work in photography, videography, and directing. I’ve also worked on film sets in a variety of positions, giving me the opportunity to experience filmmaking from a lot of different perspectives.
I’m passionate about both making films and writing about them, and I’m excited to continue exploring both sides of the industry.
For thousands of years, this region has been the traditional land of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Wendat, Petun, and Anishinaabe Nations, the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, and Haudenosaunee Confederacy. This meeting place is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, who protect and honour this land and all of its rich resources. I am deeply grateful for the safety and healing this land offers me and my family, and committed to learning from and about Indigenous people and the historic, systemic, and continued traumas endured so that I may be a worthy accomplice in my work and my life.
